My Kitsch Kitchen, Palma, September 23, 2016

This week we published in a format known as THREE IN ONE.

ONE. Editor´s Article for My Kitsch Kitchen.

I must admit, and I love doing it, that the big winner of September is the Persian Empire. One is nepotistic and keeps intact her Sumerian origins.

Iran triumphs on the island of Majorca, and by a long run. Asian brothers got the Oscar in the Converses Literaries of Formentor Hotel and a Grammy in the Nit de l’Art palmesana. This circumstance is very curious and raises a dramatic dilemma in the art market: Art must rummage through their ORIGINS AND GIVING, AGAIN, ANOTHER FURTHER PRESSER.
(Clarification of artistic Dilemma: This dilemma is a circumlocution about who I am, where I come from and who the hell I want to become)

I assure you that none of the male guests to the Formentor Hotel were prepared for what happened on Sunday morning:

To hear an overwhelming female voice and look at the spectacular beauty of Lila Azam Zanganeh.

A beautiful French lady, daughter of Iranians, who has a degree in literature and philosophy at the Ecole Normale Superieure, who also teaches Literature and Romance Languages at Harvard University, who has also collaborated in newspapers like El País, The New York Times and La Repubblica, who has also successfully published in nine countries the novel The Enchanter. Nabokov and happiness, and what Oh là là Mon Dieu! It is a wonderful girl who speaks perfectly seven languages.

Lolita, light of my life, fire of my loins. My sin, my soul. Lo-lee-ta: the tip of the tongue taking a trip of three steps down the palate to tap, at three, on the teeth.

Go man! Don´t be lazy, move your fat ass and look for it on the web by Lila Azam.

And the Grammy goes to … (sound of drum roll)

Elnaz Javani! another nymphet with humble origins born in the Islamic Republic and grown between thimbles, needles and threads. All of her are threads, or threads are her, I do not know; what I do know is that she is and nubile maiden who is involved in that draw darned of small tears in a red tongue.

A sweet young girl, pure delicacy and sensitivity.

To cut a tongue that has not been temed-La Caja Blanca Gallery

TWO. Director’s article for My Kitsch Kitchen.

Last week I suddenly bump, with Alec Baldwin and Ross Bleckner in an absolutely prescient event. And I say this especially because I locate Mark Francis in Pelaires Gallery, an Irish colleague of Ross, who was invited this year to the Nit de l’Art of Palma by this Majorcan Gallery.

Mark is a weird artist who paints huge canvases and papers with oil and acrylics, and draws some lines with electric colors to maintain a strong relationship with science.

Yes, Beloveds, it is very cold and abstract way of painting.

But what do we want to see in the scientific painting by Mark Francis? The subtle nuance of their bright colors and the final result of a pictorial technique used by Velazquez and the Dutch school.

The ALLA PRIMA Italian or WET-ON-WET Brexit neighbors. A wet coat of paint over another wet coat of paint, and so on, without letting the paint dry. Circumstance that forces the artist to working like a road runner if using acrylic paints without retardants.

The Evidence of Absence-Mark Francis

THREE. Article of the most tortured writer in the planet earth for My Kitsch Kitchen.

I wear a week on strike and you will understand that this situation depresses anyone.

The last Nit de l’Art 2016 I remain locked in the workshop of My Kitsch Kitchen drunk as a skunk. I am emotionally fucked because my girlfriend left me for a much richer man, shorter and with more hair grafts than me.

Pepito Swimming-pool is a gormless and an integral knobhead. My fragile heart is wounded, broken and shattered. I sleep and breathe while my afflicted soul feeds on air and drinks pisco sours and infernal whiskeys that my colleague Acham Hellman prepares every day.

I spend most of the day lounging in the Deco art sofa watching a white plaster ceiling and the stars of colors the Priest Foctea draws all over the walls of the workshop, barely sipping the heartbreak with a passion red straw and rewinding the series and movies of my big love: Ghost, The Notebook, Twilight and Keeping up with the Kardashians.

Tuesday I got Titanic rewind five times.

Yes, Beloved, I’m terribly bad.

I pray every night to the Pachamama to fertilize the beautiful Peruvian land and illuminate the path of my Xchinita, to be successful find its giddy sanity and return to me, these are their soft, warm and loving arms
